Moses keen to maintain scoring streak for Spartak Moscow

Victor Moses is determined to maintain his perfect start to the season at the Russian club, Spartak Moscow.

Moses netted for the second consecutive game as Spartak Moscow defeated Krasnodar 4-1 away in the Russian Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

The Nigerian was also on target for Spartak last weekend helping the club salvage a 1-1 draw against Akhmat Grozny in their opening fixture of the campaign.

“It was good to get on the scoresheet. I’m not that player that everyone knows for scoring goals every week,” Moses told Spartak’s official YouTube channel after the game.

“But I will do my best to help the team, the team comes first. The only thing is to add my quality to what we already have here.

“We will keep working together as a team. I am pleased with the way I have started and hopefully, I’ll keep the momentum going.

Meanwhile, Spartak Moscow applauded Moses for his impressive performance in their opening two games of the campaign.

“Two goals in two games, Victor (Moses) is on fire, “the club tweeted.

Moses scored two goals in 25 league appearances for Spartak Moscow last season.
