Former Nigerian World Cup star, Babatunde joins Albanian club

Nigeria midfielder, Michael Babatunde has linked up with Albanian club, KF Laçi on a free transfer.

Babatunde last featured for Moroccan club, Wydad Casablanca.

The 29-year-old came into the limelight after starring for Nigeria at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

Babatunde has however not been called by Nigeria since the Mundial in the South American nation.

The former youth international was signed by Moroccan club, Raja Casablanca in 2015 and he scored 15 goals in 25 league appearances in his only season at the club.

He also had a decent spell at Qatari club, Qatar SC where he scored 23 goals in 40 league appearances.
