Transfer expert, Alex Crook, has revealed that Manchester City forward Raheem Sterling ‘will be a Chelsea player by the end of the transfer window.
He said it is a fascinating situation at Stamford Bridge with a new owner, Todd Boehly in charge and making himself the de facto director of football.
Crook said it is obvious that the new owner is backing the club manager, Thomas Tuchel with the necessary fund and making moves to sign the right players.
“I think Raheem Sterling will be a Chelsea player in the not-too-distant future,” Crook told talkSPORT.
He also noted that the Blues are in for Nathan Ake also from Manchester City and also keen on signing Juventus’ Matthijs de Ligt and Leeds United’s Raphinha.
“I was worried for Chelsea because they’ve lost some key players, the likes of Antonio Rudiger, [Romelu] Lukaku going back to Inter Milan after a very disappointing return to English football.
“But, you have to say, if they get Raheem Sterling and Raphinha, those are two very exciting signings.”
