EPL: Man Utd gets rid of duo for leaking dressing room information

The two people suspected of leaking information from the dressing room at Manchester United have now left the club, according to CEO Richard Arnold.

Arnold revealed this in a leaked video on Saturday, in which he was talking to a group of fans about last season.

He described the campaign as a “f**king nightmare” and spoke about summer transfer plans.

One notable downside and source of frustration for United last season was the volume of information from the club that was leaked to media sources.

There were regular reports of disquiet in the dressing room.

Addressing that issue, Arnold claimed, “the two sources of the leaks have now left the club.”

The identity or role of those involved was not specified, but the comments suggest that the club were confident they knew those responsible.

Six players have already departed Old Trafford following the expirations of their respective contracts. Paul Pogba, Jesse Lingard, Nemanja Matic, Lee Grant, Juan Mata and Edinson Cavani have all departed to slim down a bloated first-team squad.
